We’re made of grit, hustle and hope, and we all know New York City is greater than her ugliest moments.

In case you couldn’t make it out, here’s some documentation of our public art campaign currently on view at Atlantic Terminal and in other neighborhoods around the city where anti-Asian bias incidents have occurred.

I still believe in OUR city.

The only thing worse than polarization when it comes to our culture is cynicism. The feeling that nothing matters. That no one person can make a difference. This series is a rebuttal to that cynicism. This series says that the words we use matter. That Asian Americans matter. That Black lives matter. And that New York City matters. To say “I still believe in our city”, is to take a stand and to make your voice heard.

New Yorkers don’t succumb to cynicism or defeat. We choose to believe in and fight for ourselves, our home, and our shared future.
